This 10-day Southern Tanzania expedition traverses three distinct ecosystems across one of Africa’s largest uninterrupted wilderness regions. From the floodplains of Mikumi to the Rufiji River system of Nyerere National Park and the baobab-studded savannahs of Ruaha, the journey emphasizes scale, remoteness, and ecological diversity.
Unlike the Northern Circuit, the Southern route has fewer visitors, but offers unique boat and walking safaris. Extended time in expansive landscapes where wildlife movements are less pressured by tourism concentration.
